I teach my granddaughters that they come from a heritage of strong women; that they too may have strength. That faith, hope, love and virtue are not slogans, but things we work for. That when we stumble, we have people in our lives to help us up. My granddaughter said, “Mamaw, Ms. Susan listened to me!” Thank you for hearing her voice and in doing so, helping to reinforce our teaching and helping our girls. I am grateful for your help, but most of all for giving my girls a feeling that their voices have been heard.
